- ➤ The Wake Forest PRCR Department is asking local community members for feedback on a future skate park — part of a larger project that will include a pump track, basketball and fitness courts, restrooms and a picnic shelter—with a survey open until Oct. 14. The Town purchased 8.3 acres near Devon Square and E. Carroll Joyner Park in December 2023 and hired New Line Skatepark Inc. earlier this year to manage design and construction. City of Wake Forest
