Here's your local news at a glance for Monday, the 29th of September.
Good morning, Wake Forest.
An online fundraiser has begun to save the historic Grigsby house on Grigsby Avenue in Holly Springs as it faces demolition.
The home—valued at $595,000 with $205,000 needed for repairs—was once owned by Dr. George Grigsby and his wife, who became prominent during the Segregation Era.
GoTriangle added 15 new buses—10 diesel and five electric plus four light transit and three support vehicles—replacing older buses to offer safe and modern transit.
Funding came from federal and county sources from Durham, Wake, and Orange counties.
