- ➤ The Diaper Bank of North Carolina is teaming up with local groups to help families who lost everything in Tropical Storm Chantal in the Triangle area—since Tuesday, July 22, they distributed over 126,000 diapers. They are asking for more volunteers to wrap and pack essential supplies as recovery efforts continue. ABC 11

- ➤ Firebox Theatre is hosting auditions for its production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe with roles for actors ages 12 to 65 at the Carolina Theatre Company on Sunday, July 27 from 5—9 p.m. A callback is scheduled for Tuesday, July 29 and rehearsals will begin Monday, Nov. 17 leading to performances December 19—21 at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre.
