- ➤ Wake Forest’s Town is developing a conceptual site plan for a new park anchored by the historic Ailey Young House to honor local African American heritage. A public drop-in meeting will be held on June 26 from 5:30—7:30 p.m. at the Alston-Massenburg Center to gather resident input on two draft plans and the park’s naming. City of Wake Forest
- ➤ GoTriangle is asking Wake Forest residents for feedback on proposed changes to the Wake Forest-Raleigh Express bus service set to start this November. The new route will offer all-day hourly service from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and add stops along South Main Street/US 1A in Wake Forest — it will shorten the route by dropping Downtown Raleigh stops while connecting with microtransit options.
