GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Wake Forest Town Manager Kip Padgett proposed a 2026 budget on May 6 that will increase spending to nearly $139 million to fund services and add 18 new positions—this plan funds a new fire station on Wait Avenue and shifts five full-time jobs from the Northern Wake Senior Center.
