- ➤ Wake County educators staged a walk-in protest at Enloe Magnet High School yesterday to urge school leaders to adopt a no-cuts budget after the county proposal provided $35 million for schools—$5 million less than the superintendent recommended. They warned that the lower funds would force staff cuts, reduced benefits, and delayed maintenance as commissioners prepare to finalize the district budget soon. ABC 11
