Beginning Tuesday, April 29 and continuing through mid-May daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Iron Horse Contractors working on the future Quail Crossing Subdivision will reduce traffic to one lane on Jones Dairy Road between Green Mountain Drive and Friendship Chapel Road + flaggers and signage will guide drivers and help them plan alternate routes.

Wake County has appointed experienced leaders to head its new Social Services and Public Health departments.

Effective July 1, Antonia Pedroza will lead Social Services & Rebecca Kaufman will continue directing Public Health as the county restructures Health and Human Services to improve service delivery.
