Wake Forest Renaissance Centre invites artists to submit original work answering 'What does America mean to you?' for the America 250 Art Exhibit; submissions are due Sunday, May 24 and selected pieces will be shown at the Arts Annex with a free reception on June 12 — 6-8 p.m.

Wake Forest will reduce lane on 600 block of South Main Street/US1A, between Vernon and East Holding, for sidewalk replacement.

Wake Forest Power will conduct a scheduled outage Monday, April 20 from 8 a.m. to noon to safely replace a switching cabinet for roughly 115 customers in Deacons Ridge and Avondale — the utility thanks those affected for their patience.

Town crews will shift traffic on Traditions Grande Boulevard (weather permitting) during the week of April 20 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. daily to repair asphalt between Lemongrass Lane and Wildflower Ridge Road; motorists should consider alternate routes.
