- ➤ Inflation data released Wednesday showed wholesale prices jumped 3.4% compared with last year, pushing grocery and gas costs higher - local residents are adjusting their budgets amid rising expenses. ABC 11
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Duke University announced HomeGrown Initiative, a $203M investment to boost job opportunities, support small businesses & improve affordable housing in the Triangle, including Wake and Durham counties. The program will roll out over the next three years and will track its progress on a new public website. ABC 11
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Since Wednesday, Mar. 18, West Cedar Avenue has been closed on weekdays from 7 a.m. + 5 p.m. for the Wake Forest Water Main Replacement and Repair Project; flaggers and signage direct motorists along detours while homeowners keep driveway access.
