- ➤ Wake County EMS has announced a new triage system for 911 calls that will begin rolling out in March, routing lower priority calls to nurses and telehealth so time-critical emergencies receive prompt response. Community meetings (including one on March 3 at 11 a.m. in Raleigh) will explain the new process. ABC 11

- ➤ Officials announced the Zebulon Devil Dogz as the new Coastal Plain League team after a press conference yesterday — replacing the Mudcats in eastern Wake County. Town leaders are now focusing on future plans for Five County Stadium. ABC 11
