  • Alumni have united to preserve the abandoned Springfield School in Lucama (built in 1951 as a historic education site for Black children during segregation) and plan to transform it into a community center with multipurpose spaces, a cafe, a youth esports arena, and a makers space.  ABC 11

  • Chris Paul, known as the Point God, ended his 21-season career on Friday during NBA All-Star weekend at the Clippers’ home court—he played his final season with the Clippers and had a stint in Toronto, and now he will focus on his family.  ABC 11
