- ➤ The Wake Forest Renaissance Centre will host the 2026 Wake Forest Film Festival on Friday and Saturday, March 6-7, with 22 films selected from over 150 submissions. Tickets cost 25 dollars plus tax and can be bought online, at the RC Box Office, or by phone, and a VIP experience will follow the final screening at Broadsides and Brews on Friday evening. - ➤ The State Health Department reported 63 flu-related deaths in one week + a season total of 134 and urged residents, especially older adults, to get the flu vaccine as officials warned of a possible second peak later. ABC 11
