  • No. 17 North Carolina beat Wake Forest 87-84 on Saturday night at the Dean E. Smith Center in Chapel Hill to mark its 500th win there. Wake Forest rallied late from a 15-point deficit, but North Carolina's key plays sealed the victory.  ABC 11
  • Bobby Petrino was named the new offensive coordinator for the Tar Heels on Friday, coming from two seasons as Arkansas’s offensive coordinator & interim head coach. He replaces Freddie Kitchens as the team aims to improve its offense after a challenging season.  ABC 11
