GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Wake Forest's PRCR Department is accepting food vendor applications for 2026 events (Family Movie Nights, Fireworks Spectacular, Concerts in the Park, and Halloween Boo Bash) online until Saturday, Jan. 31; selected vendors will be notified Tuesday, Feb. 17. Applicants must secure required local permits and a minimum $1 million insurance policy.  City of Wake Forest
  • Wake Forest’s Go Wake Forest ridesharing service will begin charging tier-based fares based on distance plus $1.25 for each extra rider starting Sunday, Feb. 1. A Reduced Fare Program will offer 50% discounts for qualifying seniors, persons with disabilities, and income-based riders who must apply at Town Hall.  City of Wake Forest
